The Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) has awarded Aptima a significant contract to develop an AI-driven solution that leverages Large Language Models (LLMs) to streamline and accelerate the training development process.
This innovative approach aims to address critical barriers in training, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness for the armed forces.
The project, named NAUTICAL, recently claimed the top spot in a high-profile industry competition hosted by Central Florida Tech Grove in collaboration with the Office of Naval Research (ONR) and NAWCTSD.
The competition sought groundbreaking solutions to tackle key challenges in training, and NAUTICAL emerged as the leading concept.
With its success in the competition, NAUTICAL is now being further developed to meet real-world operational needs.
