A lawsuit has put the contract for 21 Pilatus PC-7 MKII aircraft on hold after a rival manufacturer raised concerns about the tender process. This legal challenge has resulted in the Netherlands pausing its plans to replace its aging training aircraft fleet until the court reaches a decision.  The outcome of the lawsuit will determine if the contract will proceed or if the tender process will be reconsidered.
