The Ghana Navy, in partnership with the Danish Government, has inaugurated the LILL-May Didriksen Simulation Centre at the Naval Training Command (NAVTRAC) in Nutekpor.

The facility includes a 270-degree Full Mission Bridge Simulator, three 120-degree Part-Task Simulators, and specialized training areas to enhance maritime operations. Named after LILL-May Didriksen, the first female officer in the Royal Danish Navy, the center aims to strengthen Ghana’s maritime security and improve operations in the Gulf of Guinea.
