EATS 2025 Charitable Partners Wings for Warriors have entered a new charitable relationship with Ground Effect Coffee Roasters, a specialty coffee company founded by former pilot Chris Berry.
Chris was a Line Training Captain based out of Aberdeen, Shetland and Norwich, flying the S92A and H175 helicopters on the North Sea. He was medically discharged in December 2023, and, in June 2024, he launched Ground Effect Coffee Roasters.
With Wings for Warriors, Chris has launched 'Wings', a unique coffee blend that will directly support wounded, injured, and sick servicemen and women as they rebuild their lives through aviation careers.
A portion of proceeds from every bag of Wings coffee sold will go towards providing veterans with access to opportunities, which can facilitate a truly holistic recovery after being injured or becoming ill during service.
