Pacific Medics, part of the 65th Medical Brigade, led Eighth Army's Freedom Lift 25-1, a large-scale medical evacuation exercise held across multiple locations in South Korea. The exercise, which involved teams from over 25 joint and combined commands, tested multi-modal patient evacuations while improving communication, medical command, and control. The training focused on enhancing interoperability between the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Republic of Korea forces.

Freedom Lift 25-1 aimed to evaluate medical evacuation, health service support, and medical command in the Korean theater. It involved complex tasks like joint MEDEVAC procedures, patient transfer, and combat casualty care. The exercise strengthened U.S.-ROK interoperability and bolstered readiness for future medical operations.

The event provided valuable insights for participants, helping them integrate and refine their skills in real-world scenarios. It also emphasized the importance of effective communication, ensuring operational readiness while maintaining compliance with Army health standards. Through the exercise, the Pacific Medics strengthened their ability to execute rapid patient care and support military medical readiness on the Korean Peninsula.
