Avkin released its newest hybrid, a wearable anterior thorax simulator with a removable triple lumen central venous catheter, retractable implanted port (port-a-cath), and heart sounds. The device is designed for both assessment and care of a right subclavian triple lumen catheter or implanted central venous access port. This wearable product is designed to reinforce best practice standards, just-in-time learning and patient centered care integration.

It features access/de-access to both the triple lumen and port, drawing and flushing from each, and can help users identify a displaced port. Tegaderm will stick to the device for proper dressing changes, and the haptic feedback sensor at the entrance of triple lumen and port can be used for patient actor feedback to sensitive care.
