The Medical Device Division of the Israeli Ministry ofHealth approved marketing of Surgical Theater’s Surgical Navigation AdvancedPlatform (SNAP) and SuRgical Planner (SRP) systems. To lead this charge, EliMoshe has joined Surgical Theater as its new senior vice president and generalmanager (GM), Europe and Middle East (EME), to manage sales efforts withinEurope and Israel. Tzamal Medical Ltd has been selected as the local agent andimporter for Israel.
Moshe brings 15-plus years of experience in the field,leading sales, marketing and operations teams. Prior to joining SurgicalTheater, Moshe was the country GM in Israel for Hitachi Vantara. Like thefounders of Surgical Theater, Moshe also comes with military background as arank of lieutenant colonel. He will be overseeing sales and R&D (research& development) for the EME market at the European Headquarters in Israel.
"Our technology will be one of the most importantproducts for planning and performing complex surgeries in the human body,including brain, heart and spinal surgery,” said Moshe.
Precision VR is a visualization platform that allowspatients and their surgeons to step into the patient's complex diagnosis and towalk together in a 360-degree, Virtual Reality (VR) reconstruction of thepatient's anatomy. When wearing the VR headset, a VR-empowered physician andpatient can tour a patient's pathology. By simply turning their head from sideto side, the patient can further explore their anatomy as the surgeon explainsand demonstrates the planned surgical path, which the medical team will utilizeduring the procedure. This shared "walk-in" through the pathology isproven to increase patient satisfaction, improve patient engagement and improvea hospital's financial performance.
