VSTEP has released its Portable Simulator, a haptic simulator equipped with radar, ECDIS, outside view, conning panel and azimuth controls. It is a compact trainee station that can fit in the trunk of a vehicle and is integrated into a single case.
The simulator features NAUTIS Operating Software; audio output; trackball; external port connections; a maximum of three controls consisting of azimuth, thruster or rudder (all combinations possible); and three NAUTIS views.
