Michigan State Police (MSP) have teamed up with Michigan State University (MSU) doctors to enhance training for mental health crisis response. Using virtual reality (VR), 

MSP troopers are engaging in realistic scenarios to practice de-escalation techniques. This initiative aims to improve officer preparedness in handling mental health emergencies, promoting safer interactions with individuals in crisis. By incorporating VR, MSP seeks to modernize training and improve outcomes for both officers and the community.
