Airways College, a flight training school created 30 years ago, has confirmed its desire to go abroad and in particular spread in Africa.
The school signed a contract with Air Cote d'Ivoire in 2015 to train its cadets. The first promotion accomplished the theorectical part of the training in Yamoussoukro, Ivory Coast with success, and is continuing with the inflight training at the FTO's Agen site, in France.
Following this successful international trial, Airways College put in place a partnership with Institut National Polytechnique Félix Houphouët-Boigny (INPHB) in Yamoussoukro at the beginning of this year. This project was implemented thanks to General Abdoulaye Coulibaly, Air Côte d'Ivoire Board chairman. Mr René Decurey, Air Côte d'Ivoire general director, and Mr Koffi N'Guessan, INP-HB general director. Airways College has a great asset with its EASA license, and is able to train African pilots in INP-HB location.
