Cairo, Egypt-based Nile Air is to use Flyco Group’s Advanced Learning Management System (A-LMS) and bespoke courseware to streamline and modernise its operations.
Nile Air’s courseware library will consist of content for pilots, cabin crew members, dispatchers, technicians, managers, handling personnel, loadmasters and ground personnel. As the carrier operates a growing fleet of Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft, pilots and cabin crew will also benefit from the Airbus A320 type courses offered by Flyco.
Elsewhere, Nile Air’s training department personnel will be able to create reports and obtain crew certificates utilising the reports system Flyco’s A-LMS provides. Admin training personnel will have access to functions such as the Assessment Creation Center, Advanced Report Server and License Auto-Track, and are free to create their own training content as well as obtaining valuable data on crew training performance.
“We believe that it is important for our crew members to have the flexibility of accessing their required courses remotely from their crew pads and smart devices. Flyco’s applications not only offer mobile accessibility, but also provide offline training options as part of the user interface,” commented Abdelmoneim Moussa, Director of Operations at Nile Air.
Flyco’s LMS and courseware has already been fully approved by the Egyptian Civil Aviation Authority (ECAA).
This contract marks Flyco’s continued growth in the Egyptian e-learning market following a new contract with Nesma Airlines earlier this year.
