The Bulgarian Air Traffic Services Authority (BULATSA) has awarded Micro Nav Limited (Micro Nav) with a contract to extend its training simulator functionality through the implementation of a Real Time Simulation Platform (RTSP).

Working with Harris Orthogon and Think Research, Micro Nav will also support BULATSA in the preparation and execution of a Real Time Simulation using the new RTSP in relation to the commissioning of the new Istanbul Airport.

Georgi Peev, Director General of the Bulgarian Air Traffic Services Authority, said, “This contract award is a further example of the investment we are making in our infrastructure as part of our five-year business plan. I am very confident that the combined team from BULATSA, Micro Nav, Harris Orthogon and Think Research will deliver the planned operational and cost benefits.”

Elsewhere, Micro Nav recently announced Greg Pile as its new Operations Director.
