WATS 2025 will feature two new workshops presented by Touch & Go Solutions and Halldale Group. These collaborative sessions aim to unite aviation training professionals in sharing expertise and developing progressive solutions for industry challenges.

The first workshop, focusing on Instructor Training and Development, will take place on Tuesday, 8 April at the world's largest aviation training event.

Captain Mike Tarsa (Ret.) will facilitate this session, examining how organisations select, qualify and continuously develop instructors. The workshop will highlight how ongoing professional development extends beyond annual recurrent training to significantly enhance organisational performance.

On Wednesday, 9 April, Dr Paul Gay will lead the second workshop centred on Using Data in Airline Training.

Participants will explore methodologies for evaluating data quality, identifying critical training challenges, and measuring solution effectiveness to drive substantive improvements in training programmes.

Both workshops will be held in Wekiwa 5 at the Rosen Shingle Creek Hotel from 14:15 to 18:00. These sessions offer aviation training professionals a valuable opportunity to engage with colleagues, gain fresh perspectives, and actively contribute to advancing aviation training practices.

The workshops provide instructors, training managers and industry specialists with a platform to exchange best practices whilst addressing current challenges through collaborative problem-solving. Participants will benefit from the collective expertise of peers whilst developing practical strategies that can be implemented within their own organisations.

WATS 2025 invites aviation training professionals to join these interactive sessions to strengthen industry connections, collaborate with peers, and elevate their training programmes through shared knowledge and innovation.
