Reiser Simulation and Training’s Airbus H145 Full Flight Simulator (FFS) is now operational at the Norwegian Competence Centre Helicopter (NCCH) in Stavanger, Norway, which provides training for Norwegian Air Ambulance Helicopter Emergency Medical Services (HEMS) pilots and crew members. The training device received CS-FSTD(H) EASA FFS Level D certification last month.
The simulator features a visual display system designed and commissioned by project: syntropy, a solution provider and integrator. It features a full Night Vision Imaging System (NVIS) equipment-compatible and replicated H145 helicopter cockpit, and simulated Helionix® Step 2 avionics suite and flight model based on flight test data. The 240-by-80 degree dome features color matched data loss prevention (DLP) next generation solid-state LED Norxe P1WQ-IR projectors for realistic day and night scenes.
