entrol has obtained the Letter of Approval (LOA) for its H1000 AATD simulator, making it able to certify the simulator from the factory.

This unit features a cockpit based on the Bell 505 helicopter, complete with a replica of the Garmin G1000 avionics suite developed by entrol.

The simulator is designed for single-seat operation with the option for a co-pilot seat. It features an advanced visual system, which provides both TV-based and cylindrical projection with a field of view of 200ºx40º. Additionally, the simulator's database allows clients to personalize their training scenarios according to their specific requirements. This simulator model also includes a vibration system and expanded visual capabilities.

Two units of the H1000 AATD simulator have been installed at the US Training Center in Dothan, Alabama, where they are being used by the US Army to train cadets and prepare future helicopter pilots for their aviation careers. Two more units are slated for installation in the facilities of another entrol’s client.
