ATP Flight School has awarded full scholarships to two alumni as part of its newly launched 2025 alumni scholarship program. Drake Steele, a Multi-Engine Flight Instructor at ATP’s Phoenix-Mesa Gateway center, will receive an Airbus A320 Type Rating course. Jay Ribar, a Multi-Engine Flight Standards Instructor in Fort Myers, Florida, has been selected for the Airline Transport Pilot Certification Training Program (ATP CTP) at ATP JETS in Dallas, Texas.

The initiative is the first of four quarterly scholarship rounds intended to support alumni career advancement. Each quarter, ATP alumni and instructors can apply for fully-funded training courses at ATP’s Part 142 training center, representing over $15,000 in training value.

ATP has also expanded its alumni support by offering sponsored passes to aviation industry events. In 2025, 30 alumni have already received passes to conferences such as Women in Aviation International (WAI), SUN ‘n FUN, and the Professional Asian Pilots Association (PAPA) Expo.

Additionally, ATP announced a new partnership with Spitfire Elite, offering alumni discounted airline interview preparation, with two alumni per month receiving fully-sponsored access to the service.
