Egypt's Minister of Civil Aviation Dr Sameh Elhefny and a UAE delegation led by Mohammed Abdullah Al-Salami have identified significant opportunities for aviation training cooperation between the two nations. 

During recent high-level talks in Cairo, the discussions specifically highlighted potential collaboration through Dubai's air navigation training centre and proposed specialised programmes leveraging advanced global technologies.

The meeting centred on exploring expertise-sharing mechanisms for civil aviation training, with particular emphasis on innovative technological approaches to professional development. Dubai's air navigation training centre emerged as a key focal point for potential joint initiatives, signalling a strategic approach to enhancing aviation professional skills in the region.

Al-Salami praised Egypt's ongoing efforts to modernise its civil aviation sector, expressing the UAE's commitment to supporting these development initiatives through targeted training programmes. Dr. Elhefny reinforced Egypt's commitment to infrastructure enhancement, innovation, and sustainability in aviation training. 

While specific details of the proposed training initiatives were not fully disclosed, the talks signal a promising avenue for collaborative aviation training development between Egypt and the United Arab Emirates.
