Entrol Expands US Reach with Fort Worth Simulator

Entrol has just sold a Bell 429 FTD Level 5 to Helicopter Institute, a helicopter training center in Fort Worth, Texas. The installation is scheduled for summer 2025.

The Bell 429 FTD Level 5 cockpit is equipped with Garmin GTN 650H Xi and GTN 750H Xi avionics, providing an authentic operational experience that optimizes learning and cockpit adaptation. Additionally, the simulator includes a GMA340H intercom system, ensuring seamless communication between instructors and trainees during training sessions. It also features an advanced 200ºx40º cylindrical visual system.

The flight simulator operates with a detailed database based on X-Plane 11, enabling the recreation of flight environments tailored to Helicopter Institute’s specific training requirements.
