In a new contract, Engility Holdings, Inc. will continue to support the U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory in its Kinetic Kill Hardware-in-the-loop (KHILS) Simulation Technology for Advanced Research (KSTAR) program.

This $49 million, IDIQ contract extends over a five-year period. It calls for the development of multi-spectral and multi-modal phenomenology modeling capabilities to help the Air Force transition weapon systems through the use of integrated guidance simulation.

“We take our role in supporting U.S. national security and global stability very seriously,” said Lynn Dugle, Engility CEO. “This contract is a testament to our unique expertise in studying, developing and deploying scalable concepts that lead to mission success.”

The work will be conducted at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida.

Engility has been working with the Air Force Research Laboratory since 2000, developing a variety of tools for weapon system infrastructure.
