Lockheed Martin’s F-35 FMS (Full Mission Simulators) made its first deliveries to international operations with the Israeli, Italian, Japanese and Norwegian Air Forces.

These four countries will utilize the simulators as a key part of their F-35 operating bases for pilot qualification training, continuation training and mission rehearsal training.

"Lockheed Martin has unparalleled experience and expertise in leading day-to-day F-35 training operations and we look forward to our continued partnerships with these important allies as they build their respective training programs,” said Colleen Arthur, vice president of F-35 Training at Lockheed Martin.

The company will continue to support F-35 training in Israel, Italy, Japan and Norway through courseware, curriculum support and an Aircraft Systems Maintenance Trainer (ASMT). Beginning in 2018, pilot and maintenance trainers will be delivered to additional F-35 customers worldwide.

Dozens of international pilots and maintainers have been trained in the US to support in-country training for Lockheed Martin’s partners, with additional instructors having been trained in-country by Lockheed Martin's Global Mobile Training Team (GMTT).
