Riptide Software, along with teammates Cole Engineering and Assured Information Technology, won a United States Marine Corps contract to support and improve the Supporting Arms Virtual Trainer (SAVT) training system that enhances operational readiness and tactical proficiency of USMC Joint Terminal Attack Controllers, Forward Observers (FO), and Forward Air Controllers (FAC) used in Supporting Arms (SAs) and Close Air Support (CAS). The SAVT system provides a standardized method for training Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) for Naval Surface Fire (NSF), Tactical Air (TA), Artillery and Mortar support in joint expeditionary operations.

Riptide will design and develop all hardware and software enhancements and upgrades and will support the Program Manager for Training Systems (PM TRASYS) by providing training support services and full life-cycle sustainment for SAVT training systems at: MCB Camp Pendleton, California; MCAGCC Twentynine Palms, California; MCB Kaneohe, Hawaii; MCB Camp Lejeune, North Carolina; MCB Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan; MCAS Yuma, Arizona; and the SAVT Test Berth in Orlando, Florida.
