Kratos

Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, a National Security Solutions provider, expanded its military training and simulation facility in Orlando. The new facility adds 50,000 square feet of space directly across from the firm’s existing 100,000 square foot facility.

Kratos’ portfolio of warfighter training solutions includes simulation systems for air, land and sea platforms; an array of training products and services and an Aircrew Training Center, all supported by immersive training technologies. Kratos’ training business has seen successful expansion supporting the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) along with growth in the Middle-East, Australia and Europe and is one of the company’s fastest growing business groups.

According to a recent report by Frost and Sullivan, the continuing demand for mixed reality training is the main driver for investment and innovation in the military training and simulation market. Kratos integrates advanced immersive reality technologies into course curricula with motion-based platforms to deliver an immersive training experience for aircrew operations trainees.

At Kratos’ Orlando facility, military personnel are trained through virtual, augmented and mixed realities, as well as replicated physical controls that together create a realistic, immersive experience designed to prepare them to lead combat support missions efficiently and confidently.
