Advanced IT Concepts Inc. (AITC), a network and systems engineering and Information Technology (IT) company, won a three-year contract from the U.S. Army Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) at Fort Jackson, South Carolina to provide Enhanced Separate and Secure (ESS) security services for Fort Jackson’s training facilities.

AITC says Fort Jackson is the largest and most active Initial Entry Training Center (IETC) in the United States Army, training more than 50 percent of all soldiers and nearly 60 percent of female soldiers entering the Army each year. AITC says it will help make a safer and more secure environment for soldiers’ basic training by transitioning the security systems to the Risk Management Framework Assessment and Authorization process (A&A).

The contract provides Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), operations and maintenance, monitoring and repair, network and system equipment updates, and upgrades for transition to A&A.
