Bublar Group subsidiary Vobling has received an order from Saab to develop VR training programmes on an airborne surveillance product.
The module will include a complete training environment that facilitates tasks and procedures. It will also keep track of user performance and provide real-time feedback.
"This solution will serve as a base that we can expand," said Anders Ribbing, Managing Director at Vobling. "The ambition is to set the base for a scalable virtual training excellence platform"
Vobling develops AR/VR-solutions in several areas, such as education, transportation and industrial applications. Its client list includes Saab, Electrolux, SJ and Tobii.
Swedish-based Bublar Group said advanced training programmes would increase training efficiency.
Saab’s Training & Simulation business unit develops, manufactures and markets advanced military training equipment. These include laser simulator systems, instrumented training systems and target equipment.
Saab have already signed deals with the UK Navy, Finnish Defence Forces and Belgium MoD this year.
