Web-based pandemic response training is available now through ATS’ ATSsim Suite, a collaborative platform to help organizations plan, prepare, and mitigate the impacts of a pandemic.
ATSsim Suite is an online virtual collaborative environmentwhere organizations and staff can develop and validate plans, conduct trainingand exercise events, gather and review facts, and develop lessons learned.
“Businesses and government agencies are working now todetermine how to continue operations while keeping employees healthy duringthis pandemic,” said Jason Bewley, ATS president. “This training platformoffers an opportunity to examine impacts, decisions and operating proceduresand determine the best ways to respond to future waves of the virus.”
ATS’ Pandemic Response Planning and Training can be accessedby employees in distributed environments simultaneously. Anyone with a computerand internet access can participate in the training, from anywhere.
“The world is changing all around us and things won’t everbe the same. Even in the midst of crisis, it’s important to think about thefuture,” said Bewley. “Sadly, this virus is expected to return over the nextyear and it’s important for organizations to learn how to respond effectively.”
The Pandemic Response Planning and Training through ATSsimSuite meets U.S. Department of Defense and Department of Homeland Securityrequirements and offers crisis planning and response training in simulatedenvironments with progressive options, controls, and complexity.
“The training platform that has helped the Departments ofDefense and Homeland Security for a decade should be used to help save livesand prepare us for the next disaster,” said Bewley.
