Gregory Kane has joined Engineering & Computer Simulations (ECS) as its Chief Operating Officer. A West Point graduate with over 27 years of service in the United States (U.S.) Army, Kane brings over 10 years of operations expertise and program management in the government and simulation sectors. A proven manager who embraces innovative ideas, he will continue to strengthen internal measures, while enhancing relationships with the company’s customers and partners; he will also lead the technical and creative services teams.

Mick Golson, ECS president says: “Greg’s strong operational expertise and military background, combined with his dynamic leadership style, make him the model leader for ECS as we continue to expand our global training and technology capabilities within the private and government sectors. We’re excited to welcome him to our team.”

Kane has managed critical Army programs within combat, peacekeeping, and humanitarian settings and retired with the rank of Colonel. He utilized his strong operations background to transition to the simulation industry where he has led program management teams for global companies in the defense, government, and commercial sectors.

Waymon Armstrong, ECS Chief Executive Officer, adds: “Greg’s reputation in the Central Florida business community and simulation industry is exemplary. As our team continues to deliver technology and training solutions to military, frontline workers, and other commercial clients, his analytical approach to best practices will lead us into the next level of innovation and growth.”

Kane holds a bachelor’s degree with a concentration in aerospace engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point, a master’s degree in political science from Auburn University, and a master’s degree in strategic studies from the U.S. Army War College.
