D2 Flight Academy, East Carolina University, and the US Air Force are collaborating on a pilot training program for Junior ROTC cadets, according to WNCT.

The initiative aims to inspire high school students across the nation to pursue aviation careers. Sixteen students, including four females and two USAFA cadets, will participate from various states including Florida, Utah, Texas, Colorado, South Carolina, Arizona and Georgia.

Starting on 3 June 3 and ending with graduation on 26 July, participants will receive academic training at East Carolina University. Following classes, cadets will move to Little Washington Airport for intensive flight training, running five to seven days a week.
