U.S. Army soldiers from the East Africa Response Force participated in a major Emergency Deployment Readiness Exercise (EDRE) in Libreville, Gabon, reports DVIDS.

Led by CJTF-HOA, the exercise tested crisis response capabilities, enhanced U.S.-Gabon military cooperation, and involved over 150 personnel across multiple African nations. The EDRE included a full mission profile rehearsal at the U.S. Embassy in Libreville, focusing on crisis response training, operational readiness, and enhancing military-to-military coordination. The exercise emphasized hands-on training to refine skills and improve rapid deployment capabilities in complex scenarios.
