The Chief of Naval Air Training (CNATRA) welcomed Royal Norwegian Air Force (RNoAF) leaders for a visit to NAS Corpus Christi. Before arriving, Brigadier General Kenneth Øvland attended a Winging ceremony at NAS Pensacola, where two Norwegian students earned their ‘Wings of Gold.’

During their 3 February visit, the RNoAF delegation received briefings on naval flight training priorities and toured Training Air Wing 4, accompanied by RNoAF students in advanced multi-engine training.

"This visit was a great opportunity to meet and discuss the production of skilled aviators with our NATO allies," said Rear Admiral Richard Brophy, Chief of Naval Air Training. "The standardization and camaraderie fostered in our training program creates stronger and more capable alliances to address the world’s most pressing challenges.”

Since the 1960s, the U.S. Navy has trained RNoAF pilots and NFOs through the International Military Student Officer program.
