On November 6, 2024, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm ET, the National Training and Simulation Association (NTSA) will host a webinar titled Deterrence Through Training and Readiness: How M&S is Protecting Our World. This event offers a sneak peek at the upcoming Interservice/Industry Training Simulation and Education Conference (I/ITSEC) 2024, which will be held from 2-6 December 2024, in Orlando, Florida.

The 2024 I/ITSEC conference theme, Assuring Deterrence Through Integrated Training and Readiness - The Need is Now!, emphasizes the critical role of Modeling and Simulation (M&S) technologies, as well as the integration of Generative Artificial Intelligence, in addressing both domestic and global security challenges. The webinar will provide attendees with insight into the capabilities and technologies the Service Executives and their teams will be seeking at the conference.

Speakers for the webinar include: VADM Sean Buck, USN (Ret.), President, NTSA, Moderator; CAPT Tim James, USN, Commanding Officer, NAWCTSD and NSA Orlando; Col Marcus J. This timely discussion will showcase how M&S technologies are transforming the U.S. military’s ability to maintain readiness and deterrence. The webinar is open to all professionals in the training and simulation industry, offering an early look at the priorities for I/ITSEC 2024 and the evolving technologies that will shape national security efforts in the years to come.
