TraumaFX, a division of Kforce Government Solutions Inc. and a provider of ruggedized human and canine medical training simulators, delivered its first phase of shipments for its Tactical Combat Casualty Care – Exportable (TC3X) medical simulators to the U.S. Army’s Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI) on schedule. The systems will show essential, life-saving interventions for injuries sustained on the battlefield to support training for non-medical soldiers, who are often the first on-site when injuries occur.

Each system consists of a TraumaFX Packable Hemostatic lower-body simulator and a TraumaFX AirwayPlus Lifecast-Pulses/Breathing upper-body simulator with various extremity injuries. The system will teach soldiers Tactical Combat Casualty Care skills including hemorrhage control and airway management.

TraumaFX has deployed 32 systems to Fort Sam Houston, Texas; Fort Hood, Texas; Fort Carson, Colorado; Fort Polk, Louisiana; Fort Benning, Georgia; Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri; Fort Lee, Virginia and Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
