Microsoft, GE HealthCare, and LG Electronics have joined forces to support the development of smart hospitals in South Korea, according to Mobi Health News.

Through a memorandum of understanding, the trio will combine their expertise in medical equipment, medtech solutions, smart hospital operations, and cloud platforms. Microsoft Korea will focus on digital solutions like AI algorithms through Azure OpenAI and communication platforms like Microsoft Teams, while GE HealthCare brings digital medical solutions and technology like digital twins. LG Electronics will provide smart hospital technologies such as monitors, medical robots, and communication networks.
