Applications Open for Wind Turbine Apprenticeship

Ørsted has opened applications for its 2025 Wind Turbine Technician Apprenticeship Program. The four-year program combines classroom learning and practical offshore experience at Ørsted sites in the U.K. 

Apprentices will spend their first year at North Lindsey College, followed by three years at Ørsted’s wind farms. Successful candidates will earn a Maintenance & Operations Engineering Technician qualification. The program supports the U.K.'s growing offshore wind sector, aiming for 43-50 GW of capacity by 2030. Applications close on March 21, 2025.
