Animmersion UK has upgraded Unipres’ virtual reality crane simulator, enhancing workforce training at the Wearside-based automotive parts manufacturer.
The simulator, first introduced in 2016, now features HTC’s VIVE Focus Vision headset, delivering improved visuals, wider field of view, and tracking. The new system removes the need for external sensors or PC connections, providing a fully immersive training experience.
Used without disrupting Unipres’ 24/7 production line, the simulator helps operators develop critical skills in a realistic, risk-free environment—boosting safety, efficiency, and overall training effectiveness.
