The Japan Civil Aviation College (JCAC) has ordered five FRASCA Cirrus SR22 Flight Training Devices (FTDs). The Level 5 FTDs will be configured with the Garmin NXi avionics and will include Frasca's TruVision™ Global visual system with three channel projected visual display system, Simplicity™ Instructor Operator Station, Cirrus landing gear system, sound simulation and more.

JCAC is the only national aviation flight academy in Japan and has locations in Obihiro (Northern Japan) and Miyazaki (Southern Japan). It says it trains about half of the pilots for major Japanese airlines, including Japan Airlines (JAL) and All Nippon Airways (ANA).
