Spatial-wins-Aircalin-contract-for-simulation-trainers-e1536221787176

Spatial, a provider of cabin crew training simulators, won a contract to build and install a Cabin Emergency Evacuation Trainer (CEET) and a Cabin Service Trainer (CST) for Aircalin’s cabin crew training program at its training facility in New Caledonia, France.

The hybrid A320 / A330 CEET will train the airline’s cabin crew in all safety and emergency procedures (SEPs) for both aircraft types including door-and-exit operations, evacuation procedures and fire and smoke training. The custom-designed simulator will provide a realistic training environment that features window visuals, a dual-land training slide and a sound simulation system — all controlled by the Instructors Operator Station (IOS).

The A330 CST will be built to meet Aircalin’s crew service training requirements and used to familiarize trainees with the aircraft’s passenger-cabin layout and systems including cabin lighting, call lights, communications system, galley, lavatories and business and economy class seating.
