ELITE Simulation Solutions released a new version of its ELITE XTS Home flight-training software program for pilots and several new hardware products.
The ELITE XTS software features a variety of single and multi-engine aircraft, a 4K instrument panel resolution in widescreen format, Global Positioning System (GPS) options for GNS and GTN virtual flight management systems, attitude and heading reference system (AHRS)-style avionics displays, night instrument panels and compatible electronic flight bag (EFB) connectivity with ForeFlight and Garmin Pilot. The software is also compatible with SimControlX, an iPad-based instructor station app.
ELITE Director of Business Development, Wayne Keyes says a significant feature of the software is its ability to integrate with GTN650 and 750 GPSs, which can be used with a touchscreen monitor for the instrument panel to create aircraft-quality GTN training.
ELITE’s new hardware products include a redesigned ProPanel III Flight Console with interchangeable switches between single and multi-engine aircraft, and avionics modules including controls for the GTN series GPS, ELITE E500 AHRS display, ELITE EFIS, and ELITE 530W.
