Alpha Aviation Academy (AAA) is partnering with international flight training provider Airways Aviation.
The partnership will see batches of AAA cadets undertake thethree months core flying phase of their MPL training at Airways Aviation’sAustralia campus each year, where they will train to the highest possiblestandards before returning to the UAE to commence the Advance Flight Simulatortraining phases.
The core flying phase involves cadets undertaking 70 hoursof flight training in a single-engine aircraft, where they learn how toeffectively handle and fly the aircraft in preparation for a career with AirArabia.
The partnership between AAA and Airways Aviation has beensigned by Captain Nadhem AlHamad, general manager of AAA and Ted Kabbout, CEOof Airways Aviation Australia, with the first batch of AAA cadets to starttheir training in Australia in late March 2019.
AAA’s continued drive to get more pilots into the skiescomes as the aviation industry predicts that close to 800,000 more commercialpilots will be required over the next 15 to 20 years to meet growing industrydemand.
