FlyRight, a FAA Part-142 Pilot Training Center based in North Carolina, is trying to help pilots and aircraft operators mitigate some of the negative COVID-19 impacts by offering it’s Landing Currency and Flight Review programs at no charge. While the FAA has relaxed certain regulations for pilots, that may not be enough to allow many operators to launch into the skies when travel restrictions are lifted and it’s time to fly again.
FlyRight’sFlight Review is a half-day FAA-approved program that will be accomplished in amulti-engine or single engine Level-C or D Full Flight Simulator at itsCharlotte-area Training Center. FlyRight’s Landing Currency, which covers nightlandings, can be accomplished in less time.
FlyRight is offering these programs at no charge through May 15, 2020, to experienced professional pilots and operators who are supporting relief efforts and whose flying has been interrupted by COVID-19. Pre-Enrollment requirements include a minimum of 50-hours PIC in the previous 12 months in turbine-powered aircraft.
