A new partnership has been formed between Egnatia Aviation and the Emirates Flight Training Academy (EFTA). This collaboration marks the start of a transformative journey for EFTA as it works towards achieving European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) accreditation by early 2025.

EASA certification is globally recognised and essential for pilots seeking to fly European-registered aircraft or work with European airlines, opening the door to international career opportunities. Under this partnership, EFTA’s cadets will now have the opportunity to undertake their Multi-Engine Instrument Rating (ME/IR) training with Egnatia Aviation in Greece—a mandatory requirement for obtaining an EASA licence.

Starting in 2025, cadets pursuing their EASA certification will benefit from Egnatia Aviation’s training infrastructure and expertise, completing their ME/IR by 2026. Graduates will emerge with both GCAA and EASA licences.
