SkyPeople Training has established a new base in Dublin, Ireland, following approval from the Irish Aviation Authority (IAA) to deliver the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) cabin crew attestation course. This qualification is required for cabin crew members working with airlines and operators in the European Union.
SkyPeople Training (EU), the new subsidiary, will offer the EASA-certified training to both airlines and individuals looking to gain the qualification. The 11-day course covers various safety areas, including aviation regulations, emergency procedures, security, first aid, survival techniques, and crew resource management. The Dublin-based operation is currently recruiting training and administrative staff to support the program.
SkyPeople Training, part of the EDM Group, is already accredited by the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) as a cabin crew training provider. The company’s decision to open a subsidiary in Dublin follows changes in European regulations after Brexit, which rendered the UK CAA cabin crew attestation no longer valid in Europe. The new Dublin base will enable SkyPeople to meet the demand for EASA-certified training across the region, including for operators with aircraft registered in the EU.
The establishment of this training facility in Dublin is seen as an important step in SkyPeople’s international expansion, providing a base to deliver training services across Europe. The company is positioned to support airlines’ needs for qualified cabin crew, offering flexible and efficient training options to the aviation sector.
SkyPeople also delivers cabin crew and security training to airlines worldwide, from start-ups to large operators. The company’s training programs include both classroom and practical sessions, with a focus on preparing crews for emergency situations.
