AECOM-HR-e1516377055489

AECOM won a nine-year, $442 million contract from the U.S. Army Mission and Installation Contracting Command to provide rotary wing flight training instructor support services at Fort Rucker, Alabama.

The contract includes a 12-month base period plus option years, and is expected to be completed by September 30, 2026.

AECOM will continue to provide all personnel, supervision and other services necessary to perform on-going services for rotary-wing flight training, flight training support and flight training service support.

The company’s rotary-wing flight training organization uses both classroom academic instruction and hands-on flight training. Through a variety of helicopters and flight simulators, AECOM instructs all U.S. Army aviators during their initial entry rotary-wing aviator training. The company also instructs all U.S. Air Force helicopter pilots during their specialized undergraduate helicopter pilot-training course.

Since 1989, AECOM and its legacy companies have trained more than 25,000 Army, Air Force and Allied students as military rotary wing pilots.
