QuantaDyn Corporation released QFires Portable, a ROMADS (Radio-Operator-Maintainer and Drivers) video receiver Emulated Military Equipment (EME) product. QuantaDyn says it’s the first EME device that lets users switch between different aircraft video downlink feeds during distributed and stand-alone simulation training. The QFires Portable gives students a familiar fielded-receiver interface.
QFires Portable has all of the capabilities of QuantaDyn’s other QFires products and is designed for mobile training units that have limited space – in response to customers’ needs for scalability, portability, and interoperability in a Joint Fires simulator.
