RSi's Epic-Dome visual display system for TRU Simulation + Training's T-6 aircraft operational flight trainer has completed factory acceptance at TRU's headquarters in Goose Creek, South Carolina.
The Epic-Dome visual display system features a 10-foot radius direct projection dome display system with a 270° by 80° field of view. The state-of-the-art 4K projection system comprises seven Sony GTZS 240 projectors, each delivering 8.8 million pixels. RSi's RS200 image generation system drives the immersive 4K experience, pushing over 20 million polygons and 250,000 light points per channel.
The T-6 OFT is expected to be delivered to the Argentine Air Force in early 2020.
