EMCube Inc. won a $67-million mixed contract type containingboth cost-plus-fixed-fee and firm-fixed-price line items to provide servicesfor the U.S. and United Kingdom Trident II D5 Strategic Weapon System programsand the United Kingdom Dreadnought programs.
This procurement will provide systems engineering andtraining support; orientation and culture awareness training; securityengineering; independent system safety and surety support; Trident training tothe United Kingdom Royal Navy; leadership training for Strategic SystemsPrograms and Field Activities; Ship Submersible Guided Nuclear support and lifeextension II (LE2) system support.
Work will be performed at Alexandria, Virginia; Washington,District of Columbia; Kings Bay, Georgia; Silverdale, Washington; UnitedKingdom; Pittsfield, Massachusetts; and Baltimore, Maryland, with an expectedcompletion date of Sept. 30, 2024.
