Microsoft Corporation has been awarded a firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract with a ceiling value of $10 billion over a period of 10 years, if all options are exercised. The JEDI Cloud contract will provide enterprise level, commercial Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) to support the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) business and mission operations.

“As was articulated throughout the JEDI procurement, the DoDhas a singular objective — to deploy the most innovative and securecommercially available technology to satisfy the urgent and critical needs oftoday’s warfighters,” said Toni Townes-Whitley, president, US RegulatedIndustries, Microsoft. “We look forward to expanding our longstandingpartnership with DoD and support our men and women in uniform at home, abroad,and at the tactical edge with our latest unique and differentiated Azure cloudcapabilities.”

The expected completion date is October 24, 2029, if alloptions are exercised.
