Some U.S. Army units will use VR headsets for suicide prevention training, featuring realistic scenarios and coached by Sgt. Maj. Michael Weimer, according to Stars and Stripes.

The training, already employed for sexual misconduct prevention, brings an "emotional edge," according to Weimer. The 82nd Airborne Division has begun integrating this technology, with 500 soldiers participating in the new suicide prevention scenarios.
