Bugeye Technologies will debut its F-35 Reconfigurable Advanced Mission Trainer (RAMT) during the Sims Synergy Summer School at the Sim Innovation Center at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, 25-26 June.

Event organizers have invited all U.S. Air Force major commands to attend this two-day event. Part of the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center’s Simulators Division (AFLCMC/WNS), WNS acquires and modernizes training systems to enhance lethality and readiness by growing a diverse workforce motivated to sharpen the warfighter's bite. They specialize in virtual and augmented reality training systems and are seeking an enterprise-wide hardware solution complying with the needs of two Air Force programs: Simulator Common Architecture Requirements and Standards, as well as the Joint Simulation Environment.

Bugeye’s F-35 RAMT cockpit is the culmination of pilot feedback from around the world, which has enabled its team to develop this trainer – and with a focus on software interoperability. Configured to meet numerous needs, it supports maintainers’ skill sustainment and advanced mission readiness, which extends its utility for maintenance groups to ensure comprehensive engine run training. Bugeye technicians will also “hot swap” the RAMT hardware to adapt its configuration from an F-35 to an F-15, demonstrating the reconfigurability of the trainer.

"Throughout the development process, we collected feedback from programs and end users to design the RAMT and deliver the best possible training device to the warfighter,” said Aaron Lackman, director of simulation sales and marketing at Bugeye Technologies. “The final product is the result of all of their insight and experience."
