EMS Releases Distributed System Architecture Capability

Education Management Solutions (EMS), a provider of clinical learning management software solutions and audio-video systems, has released a distributed system architecture capability for its SIMULATIONiQ™ simulation management platform that lets an institution manage different SIMULATIONiQ™ solutions at satellite sites within a multi-campus or healthcare network from a central SIMULATIONiQ Enterprise platform.

It also gives satellite sites the flexibility to operate independently of the central system. Scenarios, recordings, and checklists can be performed on the fly and later synced to the master site, and users with access to the central SIMULATIONiQ Enterprise can manage and evaluate learner activities across all locations. Anurag Singh, President and CEO of EMS says the company’s “distributed architecture technology is ideal for educational systems and hospital networks with a need to oversee multiple locations via a single, master application."

SIMULATIONiQ Enterprise was recently selected by Florida Hospital to connect its Altamonte, Winter Park, East Orlando and Celebration Health hospitals, and its affiliated Adventist University of Health Science campus – bringing the health system’s geographically scattered simulation resources together into one virtual environment.
