Alternate Health Corp. launched a continuing medical education course on the "Endocannabinoid System and Cannabidiol." (Cannabidiol (CBD) is one of at least 113 active cannabinoids identified in cannabis; it is a major phytocannabinoid, accounting for up to 40% of the plant's extract.

The course is accredited through the University of Louisville in accordance with the American Medical Association (AMA) and the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) educational requirements, and provides a comprehensive overview of the endocannabinoid system (ECS), and the vital role it plays in various physiological functions of the human body.

"Doctors and medical professionals have been waiting for a proper medical education program to provide details for this emerging medicine," said Jim Griffiths, CFO for Alternate Health.  This program is the culmination of many years of investigation and research, coupled with a substantial investment in production to create a quality and esthetically pleasing education program for Doctors and healthcare practitioners."

Alternate Health formed a wholly-owned subsidiary called Alternate Medical Media that offers the endocannabinoid online course on its website ( www.alternatemedical.com) and will also make it available at events across the United States and Canada.
